We wear LF for our adventures and Après ski, snowboard, beach, paddle, surf, hike, swim, camp, dance- you name it. We are here for the comfort of your adventures and give proceeds back while MADE IN CANADA.
Mission:
Our mission is to Live life Forward the way it helps YOU Mentally and physically. We believe doing what you love and having fun while moving forward is the best way to live life.
Why MADE IN CANADA? The owner has seen the establishment where LF is made and the sewers sew the merchandise. Canadian sewers are getting paid a proper wage for their work. This way you know the merchandise will wash well, is great quality and the workers are in a safe and great setting to work in.
->APRÈS LINE: We Give proceeds from the Après line to mental health for kids facility. We are in the process of changing from Starling Canada, KW to a Pemberton location. please be patient with us as the change is in the process. It’s so important to us to donate to kids mental health because we believe that kids are our future. We have donated $350 to Starling Canada in Waterloo, Ontario That helps kids have a safe place to go to work on their future. The proceeds were particularly donated to the Safe Haven program . 🙏
-> WMNs LINE: Proceeds from the Women’s line were donated to the Kincardine Hospital. We have moved to the Pemberton, BC and are in the process of donating to a local hospital. Live Forward has relocated from Kincardine, Ontario to Mt Currie,BC. We hope to be involved with the Pemberton and Whistler markets this season. Please stay tuned in to our social media for updates. we love being involved with the community and small businesses. We have donated $200 to the Kincardine hospital -> We feel the Kincardine hospital does a great job with their patients with the facilities they have and donating will only help the process of building more opportunities for patients and staff.
-> 100% ORGANIC COTTON PINK LINE: 10% of each sale from the Hoodie and Track pant is donated to CURE - Breast Cancer foundation - CURE foundation has been a national foundation raising funds for Breast Cancer research and equipment across Canada For 28 years. In 2018 they founded their Financial Assistance program for patients in active treatment who simply cannot afford to have cancer.

We started at the Kincardine, Ontario Monday market in the park and Goderich market. This was a great start to get out and talk to new customers, let people see and try on the merchandise and understand what we’re all about. We have SOLD OUT of certain items. We are grateful for the Kincardine and Goderich markets 👋! We unfortunately won‘t be attending anymore Ontario markets. Please email us anytime with any questions or concerns. Also! We wanted to also give out a big “Thank you!” for having us at the ladies days at Toronto Ski Club and Alpine Ski Club 🫶🏼 🎿… We are thrilled we had a chance to get involved with the Ontario private ski clubs and events in The Blue Mountains.
Also, we wouldn’t be where we are today with out the 11 Christmas markets we did in 2024. From Kincardine-> Waterloo-> London. Founder and Owner of Live Forward®️/LF®️
Jessie MacDonald has 20 years experience in ski/snowboard and outdoor industry from her hometown, Waterloo Ontario, while working at O.W. Sports through high school and on visits from college. At the age of 19 she was the assistant manager at the shop at Chicopee ski hill. Her passion for snowboarding excelled and thats when she decided to move to Barrie, Ontario. She attended Georgian College for the Snow Resort Operations Management while working at Gates and Boards, taught dance and snowboard instructed at Mt st Louis Moonstone. Jessie has always liked a variety of different jobs based on her hobbies and passions.
in 2011 she decided to move to British Columbia to experience snowboarding in the mountains.
Jessie and her friend moved to Whistler, BC. She found a job at a local shop, Whistler Village Sports with hardly any money to her name (ski bum life at its best) and there she was -Living in Whistler, BC.
The first couple months she didn't have a pass so she'd hike up the mountain and hopped on the first gondola…ssshhh.
By July she was working for Whistler Blackcomb which opened the door to a seasons pass and jobs that included Can Ski, Quiksilver and Showcase.
Glacier riding was the best - she even got to ride in Camp of Champions for the summer in 2011.
One year later, Jessie decided to take her passions to Vancouver, BC. She lived in Kitsilano then decided North Vancouver was a better fit for her lifestyle. She could live the mountain life and be close to the city. She worked at North Shore Ski and Board and taught dance in Squamish, Sunshine coast and North Vancouver.
In 2019 Jessie moved back to Ontario to live closer to her family after learning her Dad was passing from Cancer. She moved to KW and worked at Select Sports, casually taught dance and organized her clothing line. Jessie founded 'Live Forward' and 'LF' during the second lockdown of Covid while her life felt like it was at a stand still for the first time.
Not only did she want a Canadian-made lounge wear brand you feel confident in, but also is great for travel, breathability, lasting material, super cozy and gives back.
on April 19 2025 Jessie and her dog TinTin made the move to Mt Currie, BC and drove across Canada. Jessie’s heart and lifestyle is in BC and they are so happy to live forward in the mountains.
